LEXINGTON — Registration is now open for the 30th Battlegreen Run Foundation annual Genesis HR Battlegreen Run.
Since 1996, the Battlegreen Run Foundation has raised and distributed more than $1.4 million to dozens of nonprofit organizations based in and around Lexington through the annual Genesis HR Battlegreen Run. This year, the foundation has an opportunity to surpass $1.5 million in total charitable giving.
While the Foundation and many of its beneficiary organizations have roots in Lexington, their impact extends globally. Beneficiary partners of the Battlegreen Run Foundation assist children and individuals living with illness and disability, fund research into diseases, and provide scholarship opportunities, among dozens of other causes.
The Battlegreen Run Foundation is able to support these organizations because of their annual HR Genesis Battlegreen Run. Money collected through race registrations, sponsorship opportunities, and public donations is distributed to over 30 nonprofit organizations each year.
Race Options for All Ages and Abilities
The 2026 Genesis HR Battlegreen Run will begin at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Participants may choose from:
- An ALMOST 10k run
- A 5k run
- A 5k walk
- A 1.2-mile walk
- Virtual 10k, 5k and 1.2-mile options
